警示注解

警示大致上分为三级 :

1. WARNING RED, WEAPONS FREE
2. 
WARNING YELLOW, WEAPONS HOLD
3. 
WARNING WHITE, WEAPONS TIGHT

 

Warning Red : Hostile attack is imminent or in progress
Warning Yellow : Hostile attack is probable
Warning White: Hostile attack is improbable (all clear)

红色警示:敌方攻击即将来临或正在进行
黄色警示:敌方极有可能进行攻击
白色警示:敌方不可能进行攻击(解除警报信号)

 

Weapons Free : Fire only at targets not identified as Friendly under current RoE.
Weapons Hold : Fire only at targets positively identified as hostile within current RoE.
Weapons Tight : Fire only in self defense or in response to a verbal order

Weapons Free : 在当前RoE条例下,攻击友机除外的所有目标
Weapons Hold :

F-14A/B的超视距空战

  在F-14战斗机上,领航员可以发射AIM-54不死鸟或AIM-7麻雀空空导弹 ,在飞机的任务控制面板上有一个很大的红色“LAUNCH”发射按钮。只有驾驶员能够使用机炮和AIM-9导弹进行攻击。

  领航员被赋予发射武器的权力,是由于AWG-9/AIM-54雷达系统具有同时攻击6个目标的能力:领航员要比驾驶员拥有更多的雷达信息,他控制雷达,并且能手动向目标发射“不死鸟”导弹(另外计算机系统还有一个自动模式)。在机组成员信息交流方面,F-14D具有更好的用户操作性,但F-14A/B则需要两个飞行员进行超视距空战(BVR Engagement)。这种交流方式与F-15E的不同,后者的前座驾驶员可以完全操控整个空空导弹攻击。由于F-14A很早面世,不可能用上这项技术。

 

战斗背景描述

在美国与利比亚关系最紧张的时期,由于所谓的在al-Rutbah化学武器事件,美国航空母舰“肯尼迪”号前往Kreta岛附近执行任务。198914日的清晨,第一航空团的A-6“入侵者”机群起飞,执行实弹训练任务。“入侵者”由不远处的两架“雄猫”提供保护,有趣的是这两架“雄猫”上分别载有第三航空团团长和VF-32中队的中队长。

  实际上,这两架F-14A在保护“入侵者”的同时,还要掩护其它飞机。在行动进行的同时,一架RC-135电子侦察机正沿着利比亚海岸线飞行,其任务大概是监视利比亚对美军行动的反应。事实上,这两架来自VF-32中队的“雄猫”,是在今天早上才被派往空战巡逻的,其最初任务是为RC-135护航,甚至他们的飞行员都清楚这项任务中的RoE条例,其中一位把利比亚的反应称作为“假定的敌对威胁”
